Online capabilities include automatic route creation from the user's current GPS location to any chosen point on the map, and track-sharing is supported in GPX format.

Customization options in Scenic Map are unparalleled. Users have the flexibility to toggle road visibility on or off, adjust lighting conditions, and remove terrain shading as desired. Contour lines can be displayed even over satellite images, and five preset styles allow for quick map style changes. Units of measurement can be set to Metric, English, or Nautical, with four coordinate display options including UTM.
